Border City CareAvan

A Made In Lloydminster Solution

What began as a simple request to help neighbours reach their medical appointments has grown into one of Lloydminster’s most heartfelt community services. The Border City CareAvan is more than transportation—it’s peace of mind, companionship, and connection for those who need to travel out of town for healthcare. Whether it’s a trip to Edmonton, Saskatoon, or a nearby community, our volunteer drivers offer door-to-door support, ensuring no one misses the care they deserve because of distance, weather, or financial barriers. Powered entirely by volunteers and community generosity, the CareAvan truly represents what it means to care for one another.

01

Connecting to Care

The Border City CareAvan Medical Trip Division is dedicated to ensuring that individuals in our community have access to essential medical care, regardless of financial constraints. This service is available is to all citizens of Lloydminster and surrounding areas.

02

Affordable Connections

Our core values of compassion, accessibility, and community support guide our commitment to providing non-emergency medical transportation from Lloydminster to Saskatoon, Edmonton, the Battlefords, Camrose, and points in between. Trips are offered based on a required suggested donation, which helps offset a portion of the operational costs of providing this service. We recognize that affordability can be a challenge for some, and when individuals are unable to meet the suggested donation, we work with them to explore available options that may help support the cost of the trip, ensuring access to needed care whenever possible. No one left behind.

Volunteer Driven

This service is only possible through the generosity of our volunteer drivers and the ongoing support of our community. Without their dedication, we could not provide transportation at such an accessible rate, nor sustain the high level of service that our clients rely on. The CareAvan is more than a transportation service; it is a vital link to medical care that helps improve quality of life and well-being for those who need it most.

Small Fleet,
Extensive Reach

The CareAvan Division fills the gap for rural and urban residents who lack access to non-emergency medical transportation. We provide reservation-based door-to-door service from Lloydminster to Saskatoon, Edmonton, the Battlefords, and Camrose and points in between.
