RIBFEST

Border City Connects is very proud and honored to host our fourth annual Ribfest with our title sponsor Southern Spur Enterprises..

We are very fortunate to welcome back, four of the best “Rib Masters” in the country this Father’s Day weekend from June 16th-18th, 2023 at the Servus Sports Center  Grounds from 11am-9pm Friday & Saturday…Sunday 11am-7pm

This is our “fourth annual” Ribfest and this year just like in 2022 we are hosting a traditional in person outdoor Ribfest event and we just can’t wait!

There is no admission to get on to the site which will have the 4 Rib Trucks with their own distinct flavor, the Blooming Onion and Cactus fries stand along with another tent offering fresh lemonade, desserts and soft drinks.

The Kinsmen Club of Lloydminster we will be hosting a beer gardens all weekend where  you can sit down eat your meal and enjoy a beer or a cooler and listen to local talent playing on the stage and On Friday and Saturday evening starting at 9 pm we have a FREE cabaret featuring the Prairie Dogs both nights until 1pm.

Border Paws (Former SPCA) is holding a 50/50 draw for all 3 days with the winning ticket announced on Sunday night so please come out and support them.

Ribfest is a major fundraiser for the Border City Connects Society and all proceeds will go a long way to assist community members with financial, physical and intellectual challenges in addressing their transportation needs.

Best of all, Ribfest is a great opportunity to give your dad or other fatherly figures in your life, a special treat over the “Father’s Day Weekend” and enjoy some great authentic quality BBQ ribs, pulled pork, chicken or brisket
