Get Cold for a cause!

If you don’t feel comfortable attending an in-person Polar Plunge, the Virtual Plunge is perfect for you. The rules are simple: Get cold, be safe and don’t forget to document by making sure to take a photo or video and share your Virtual Plunge on social media to show how you’re supporting the Border City Connects Society.

This year the great thing is that you can take the Virtual Plunge whenever and however you like…. it’s your choice and creativity…. is key.  We kick off the event starting the week of March 1^st - April 1st - Winners to be announced April 6, 2021

Whether you’re dipping into an ice cold bath, adding a bucket of ice water to your favorite TikTok dance or making snow angels in your bathing suit the opportunities are endless!  Get your cold-loving thinking cap on and start planning how you’ll challenge yourself and others to raise some very needed funds.

Anyone can participate in our splash but in order for you to be eligible for any of our prizes you will need to raise a minimum of $200 and to any maximum

To register as a participant please go onto the REGISTER tab and enter your information and your name will be added to the list in a couple of hours.

Have your sponsors go to our website www.bordercityconnects.com and hit the donate tab and they go to the divers drop down menu select your name and that donation will be credited to your splash….simple as that.

This COOL event is to support our daily operations so we are able to carry out our charities’ mission of transporting community members with mobility and intellectual challenges and assisting seniors and community members to out of town medical appointments and connecting local  individuals with community resources.

Be smart, be safe, and be careful – for you and all who join you in your Virtual Splash activity.  In whatever form your Virtual Plunge takes, follow all applicable water safety and COVID-19 protocols, take the Polar Splash within your comfort zone and be creative have fun with it; but above all, BE SAFE.
